Welcome to the UNC Asheville Parents & Families Program

As the parent, guardian or family member of a UNC Asheville student, you are automatically a member of the Parents Association. The National Parents Council serves as the leadership board of the Parents Association. We look forward to communicating with you throughout the year about UNC Asheville and invite your participation in various Parents Association activities, including Family Weekend held each fall. 

Many Parents have expressed an interest in being involved in UNC Asheville through the Parents Association. There are a number of volunteer opportunities through Admissions (receptions, recruitment events and more), the Career Center (employment counseling and internship opportunities, for example), the Development Office (fundraising), helping with regional events hosted by UNC Asheville, or serving on the National Parents Council.
