Financial Aid Important Dates & Deadlines

Students must apply for admission by this date to be considered for the Laurel's or Leadership Scholarships.

Earliest date you may file a FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA for the 2009-2010 academic year
Feb. 21, 2009
FAFSA Day at UNCA: On this day, high school and college students can come to campus to seek help in filing their FAFSAs for the 2009-2010 academic year.
March 1, 2009
Priority Filing Date for 2009-2010 Academic Year: This is when students should aim to have their FAFSAs filed by in order to maximize the aid for which they can qualify. (Yes, you may still file a FAFSA after this date, but you run the risk of receiving less aid.)
