The Office of Public Information, part of the team that makes up the Division of Alumni & Development, works to enhance the reputation and visibility of UNC Asheville's faculty, students, staff, and programs through a variety of communications efforts.

Our Services Include:

- Developing and marketing news stories through news releases, pitches and backgrounders to local, regional and national media
- Writing and disseminating news releases concerning student, faculty and staff achievements, and upcoming cultural and academic events 
- Providing the media with faculty experts and maintaining the online Speakers Bureau
- Helping students promote their campus events in area publications, radio and television
- Assisting with the Events Master Calendar
